ECOC2018 and the City of Rome have the pleasure to welcome you at the reception in one of the most beautiful historical sites of Rome.
The Termae Anthoninianae, also known as the Thermal Baths of Caracalla, are some of the best preserved imperial building of the ancient times (216 A.D.). In the Baths you could enjoy by a vast number of works of art, many of which are still visible today.
The Thermal Baths of Caracalla exceptionally open their subterraneans to the conference delegates for the Welcome Reception of ECOC2018.

V.I.P. Dinner

The traditional V.I.P. Dinner at ECOC2018 will take place at Palazzo Colonna, one of the oldest and largest private palaces of Rome. Its construction began in the fourteenth century by the Colonna family, who still resides there since eight centuries.
The Colonna family dates back to the twelfth century and comes from the town of Colonna, near Rome, from which it takes its name.

Social Dinner

The ECOC2018 Social Dinner will take place at Villa Miani, an elegant neoclassical building on the hill of Monte Mario, built for the Counts Miani. This magnificent house is surrounded by a beautiful garden that offers a breathtaking view of Rome, almost touching the dome of St. Peter Basilica.
